Attempted Fraud - A Somerset Cricket League member club has reported an attempted fraud where the club treasurer has received an email apparently from another officer of that club requesting a BACS payment be made. Similar fraud attempts have been reported in the past. Please ensure that your club treasurer is aware of this and that any unexpected request for an electronic payment needs to be treated with caution and carefully checked.
