Minutes of Disciplinary Meeting – Thursday June 21st -

ECB Severe Heat Advice for Event Organisers -

Bridgwater Sports 1st XI have withdrawn from Division 8N of the SCL. All points and fixtures have been deleted.

The Chairman of the Somerset Cricket League has been seriously concerned about the attitude of a few club representatives who have harassed and abused members of the Management Committee while they have been carrying out their administrative roles. So much so, that he has found it necessary to write a general letter to all, highlighting the problem and expressing his concern. -

Badger CC, a friendly team are touring Somerset and are looking for a match on Sat 4th August. Please email Mike Edwards or phone 07786 483114.

It is with regret that Glastonbury CC have withdrawn from the league and all points and fixtures have been removed from the website.

Minutes of Special Meeting held on March 21st -

Public Liability Insurance Certificates. Clubs are reminded that a copy of the current certificate (when renewal has taken place for 2018) should be forwarded to the Hon. Secretary of the SCL. Furthermore, the SCL Rule - page 9 in handbook reads “Rule 3. Administration (e) Club Public Liability Insurance Policy. All member clubs must have a current Public Liability Insurance Policy in existence in order to participate in the Somerset Cricket League. A copy of this policy must be displayed in the clubhouse”.
